Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Asset Administrator, who will be based at our Sheppard office. 

Your primary responsibilities are summarized as follows: 

 

Major Responsibilities 

  • Accurate file input of pertinent information into Ascend (our internal software)

  • Realization of assets in bankruptcy estates including property, vehicles, investments and reviewable transactions

  • Follow up and liaise with debtors and creditors

  • Reviewing proofs of claim

  • Realize of secured or third party assets

  • Drafting disallowance of proofs of claim

  • Conduct inspector’s meetings

  • Other duties as may be required

  • General administrative tasks, such as faxing scanning, copying ect.

 

Education 

  • College diploma (or 3 years of experience in a similar work environment)

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • 3 years of experience in an administration/clerical role

  • Extremely detailed oriented

  • Business acumen

  • Organizational skills to prioritize workload

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Analytical skills to review account activities

  • Strong communication skills to speak effectively with clients, staff and other third parties, along with written communication, spelling, grammar and proofreading/editing skills to compose letters, memos, etc.

  • Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, staff and clients

  • Able to learn other computer software quickly (Ascend and Momentum)
