Bankruptcies in North Bay, Ontario
North Bay is located in the northeastern part of Ontario, Canada. It is considered the Gateway to the North, and has been a prime location for college students. The economy of North Bay is very well rounded and diverse. Primarily, the biggest driving force and employment source in the city is the local government. For the past few years, the population of the city is slowly growing and the number of students from neighbouring cities and townships that flock the city’s quiet universities are actively rising. Of course, the city is not immune to financial issues.
In 2013, Ontario experienced 21,773 filed bankruptcies from consumers. Fortunately, in 2014, the number of bankruptcies was reduced to 19,234 filed bankruptcies from consumers. On the other hand, bankruptcies declared by 958 and 835 businesses in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Despite the economy in this city is diverse and stable, there are still some risks. And if ever you got caught in an unfortunate event related to bankruptcy, it is best that you get help from a financial team that you can trust - like A. Farber and Partners.
