Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Administrative Clerk (Operations Clerk) to join our Sheppard office.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Filing

  • Scanning new files into File Assure

  • Scanning various documents

  • Record Keeping

  • Storage and maintaining storage file lists

  • Retrieving files for various team members

  • Batching files for storage

  • Assist other team members with Clerical/Admin support

  • Receiving original records and filing

  • Set up ordinary files

  • Maintaining income and expenses folder

  • E-file Section 170’s and oppositions

  • E-file for 16 bankruptcy and consumer proposals

  • Mailing of consumer proposal interims

  • Requests for documentation from older files

  • Mailing NSF letters and warning letter for consumer proposal team

  • E-filing (submitting via the insolvency software Ascend) various forms such as bankrupt discharges

  • Review and prepare auto discharges

  • Preparing physical files for the archival storage including boxing, labeling, and data entry Moving heavy boxes is involved!

  • Providing information regarding file status, closing process, and trustee’s discharge forms to the internal and external customers. Retrieve the archival files as per inquiries

  • Occasionally: arranging the closed files in the Archives as per the retention schedule

  • Occasionally: mailing final and interim dividends as backup

  • Resolution team back up

  • Other duties may be assigned as required

 

Education 

  • High School Diploma

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • No minimum years of experience required

  • Organizational skills to organize workload

  • Good communication skills to speak effectively with staff and other third parties

  • Interpersonal skills to deal with team members and staff

  • Good computer skills using Microsoft Outlook & Word
