Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Administrative Clerk (Operations Clerk) to join our Sheppard office.
Major Responsibilities
Operations Duties

Closing CP and PB files including e-filing, data inputing (both software and excel spreadsheet), scanning, photocopying, and mailing the closing records (trustee’s discharge package) and dividends to the creditors

E-filing (submitting via the insolvency software Ascend) various forms such as Trustee’s Final Statements Receipts and Disbursements (SRD’s), Dividend sheets, Notice of Deemed Taxation and other forms as required

Receiving Positive Letters of Comment and maintain the list of pending review Final SRD’s, both CP and PB

Liaise with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy regarding closing process and pending review SRD’s

Batching Final SRD’s and providing them to the Banking team for issuing dividends. Liaise with the Banking, Consumer Proposal, and Bankruptcy teams if any issues have been indicated while closing files

Preparing physical files for the archival storage including boxing, labeling, and data entry Moving heavy boxes is involved!

Providing information regarding file status, closing process, and trustee’s discharge forms to the internal and external customers. Retrieve the archival files as per inquiries

Occasionally: arranging the closed files in the Archives as per the retention schedule

Occasionally: mailing interim dividends as backup
Education

High School Diploma
Qualifications/Experience

No minimum years of experience required

Organizational skills to organize workload

Good communication skills to speak effectively with staff and other third parties

Interpersonal skills to deal with team members and staff

Good computer skills using Microsoft Outlook & Word
