Debt repayment takes many forms.
- One type is done in conjunction with credit counseling agencies and this generally involves repaying all of a majority of the debts owing over a fixed period of time.
- The second type is to file a consumer proposal using the services of a licensed Trustee. In this process you make an offer to your creditors to repay only a portion of your debts owing over a period of time. This covers all of your unsecured debts
- The last type is to use a debt counselor to negotiate a repayment plan with your major creditor.
