Wow, what an amazing experience yesterday, delivering almost $15,000 worth of donated Mattel toys to SickKids and raising $13,077 for Kids Help Phone. Alan Farber the joint managing partner of the Farber Finacial Group extremely excited and thankful to all the people who spent the time to raise the money for this Drive to Thrive campaign.

Twenty Elves from Farber (and Farber McLay) loaded a 17 foot U-Haul truck full of toys and delivered them to SickKids hospital. A few pictures are attached.

We must thank Mattel Canada for donating the toys to us. Without their support, this would not have been possible.

Much thanks to Jenny Yuen at Kids Help Phone who helped us conceive this idea this year. We mobilized people and resources quickly this year for an outstanding effort by the partners and staff at Farber.

From Jenny, Norm and Elena at Kids Help Phone, thank you so much for rallying together and raising $13,077 this year.

On behalf of Denise Lo of SickKids, much thanks to everyone at Farber for their effort loading and unloading the toys in chilly weather—and for taking some time to tour SickKids and learn about the amazing facility that’s been serving kids across Canada since 1875.

Have a wonderful holiday season knowing you’ve helped children across Canada get support and professional counselling, and that you brought joy and smiles to children this holiday season.
